Paint/household question

We have a wood wall that has a gloss seal/paint coat over it. Someone put a sticker on said wall, and when we removed it some of the gloss coating got taken off as well. How can I repair this? Is it even possible? It's not that big of an area. Help!

Have you thought about asking on a home improvement forum? Or going to Lowe's and Home Depot to ask someone there?

'very gently' sand the edges with steel wool. wipe clean and go over with more gloss using a sponge brush if you have it. If not try a high gloss clear nailpolish. Next time (lol) remove the stickerby dabbing with goo gone if its available to you. Mayonnaise will dissolve the sticky as well and should not harm the finish behind it.

So you'll come on a fitness forum at work, but not a home improvement forum?

Okay. Well, best of luck :flowerforyou:

gloss paint doesn't typically touch up well. repaint the wall corner to corner.

hey i got some pretty good tax advice from MFP. Never hurts to put it out there. I'm sure there are some painters on here who enjoy fitness.
