House Spiders

Yep, it's that time of year again when the house spiders like to get comfy and lurk around my house to get out of the cold. Yesterday I was nice and cosy, laying back on my sofa, legs stretched out with the laptop on my lap. Browsing the internet when suddenly this big black hairy monster runs up the arm chair a few inches from my arm.

Well... let me tell you. I almost jumped out of my skin.

There was so much panic in this situation, I didn't think and had no time to react. The laptop went flying across the room (luckily it didn't break), annnnd I cut my leg off the coffee table. He then proceeded to run around the chair and eventually went under the chair. I ran to find the longest object I could find, which was a fly swatter and killed it!

These little ****s are my greatest phobia and now I can't relax without becoming paranoid and itchy all over my body.

Spiders, I hate them. I hate them so much.

    Anw Don't kill them! They're more afraid of us! I just move them back outside lol

    They don't bother me. We have a wolf spider living in the stone wall in the kitchen, he's more than welcome to hang around and hunt flies.

    OH MY GOD yesterday a nasty daddy long leg crawled right up the side of my bed, and right next to MY FACE. Less than an inch away!! I screamed so loud, that the spider tumbled backwards. Then when it got it's footing it came running back on my bed, as I rushed to get out. My room mate came in and thought I was in trouble, I pointed at the spider, and he started laughing at me, and called me a p****!! :grumble: he squished it for me, and I washed my sheets. I could barely sleep last night :indifferent:
