So I took your advice and tried it this week end and I'm hooked. So filling and delicious. I'm too lazy to make my own, but I'm wondering what the best place is to buy it? Are amazon prices decent?

Costco!! Oberto's BBQ Pork Jerky .I usually bought Jack Links teriyaki beef jerky but not no more! The pork jerky is less salty, more chewy and delicious!

Trader Joe's has some that does not have MSG in it (if you are like me and have trouble with MSG). It's really nice, and a serving is filling and low-cal, yay.

damngoodjerky.com. Even their "discount" line is better than most mainstream brands.

I will be judged for this suggestion but...

    ebay

Gross right? I thought so too but the best beef jerky I have ever had was a homemade seller on ebay. It was packaged and sent within a couple of days. High quality cuts of meat used. Wide variety of spices available - some insanely hot that you would probably never find in a store.

I did a lot of research into this topic a couple of years ago and found that selling on ebay is a common practice in "beef jerky circles", and often when you are looking at reviews of "the best beef jerky" you will see many mentions of many businesses getting their start on ebay.

Id stick with highly known very well reviewed sellers - but that would be my suggestion no matter what you bought off of ebay.

I dunno how price works the seller I used (based in Canada where I am) charged about $20 for a lb I think.

Haha I would never have thought about ebay! I'll check Trader Joe's next time I go. No Cosco here unfortunately.

I found the pound bags on amazon for $19 so I ordered one there for now.
