More Exercise for weight loss?

Hello,
I need some help with a possible weight loss plan (Exercise).
I started out weighing about 200lbs and within a month, I dropped to 185lbs (current weight). In this time period I would walk for about 30mins, on top of making better food choices. (I kept to a strict food diet; which indeed really helped with the weight loss).
As of now, I have my strict food plan under control and been very good with eating healthy food and food portion control. Starting last week I bumped the walking from 30mins of walking to jogging for 15-20mins straight.
(I understand that loosing weight becomes more difficult as you loose weight.)
My question is: Will jogging for 15-20mins everyday of the week; and consuming around 1200 calories make me loose pounds. (Preferably 1-2lbs a week).
If not, should I add more to the exercise?
Thanks

Keep going, enjoy yourself, and if you are trying to lose weight, add another form of exercise and watch your diet. Good luck.0

90% of your weight loss will come from your diet. Exercise is for fitness. I would be a bit skeptical that 1200 calories is a good idea though. There are very few people that are meant to eat that low calorie. BTW, it's LOSE weight, LOOSE is what your clothes get when you LOSE.0

1200 calories and jogging = bad idea.
I've lost 60 lbs in 9 months eating around 1600-1700 calories a day. That's over 6 lbs a month, which is more than the recommended 1 lb a week, and I sure haven't starved myself to get there.0 -

Realistically, neither walking for 30 minutes nor jogging for 15 minutes will burn many calories. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do them, just be aware that if your goal is to burn calories through exercise, those are initial (and necessary!) steps along the path.0 -
You're an 18 year old male, at 185 already. How tall are you?
You need to eat WAY more than 1200 calories per day, especially if you're working out on top of it.....
A 5'9" male 18yrs old at 185lbs has a BMR of over 1900 calories, with no exercise.0 -
***Correction I usually eat around 1500 cals a day****0

That doesn't really make it any better.....
That's still really low.0
