Zig-Zag dieting?

I was reading another post and came across someone talking about zig zag dieting. I understand the basic concept, but would you include you calories burned as well eaten? Or is it purely based on the calories you consume? Any help would be appreciated!

    that would depend on where you got your weekly calorie goal figure from... if you got it from MFP then yes eat back erxercise cals, if you got it from a TDEE calculation, then no you dont eat back exercsie cals.
