Sneakers?

What kind of sneakers do you like for long walks and runs? I have to bring my sneakers back because my feel are aching after going for a long walk.

I'm not a real "runner", but I walk a bunch (well, you're my Friend, you might see that) and I wear Sketchers GO shoes. I'm hopelessly in love with every pair of those I've gotten (which is up to... hmmm... 5 or 6 now). I bought a pair for my DH and he likes them very much too.

Asics. Best shoe I ever bought. My feet never hurt now!! Had them a year and a half now. THey are running shoes but I am not a runner. Well worth the money. I went to a running shoe store and had a personal fitting.

I'm not a runner, but I have a lot of foot problems. I tried on probably 30 pairs of tennis shoes before deciding on Nike Flex Run shoes. They are like heaven for my feet! And I HATE shoes. I've had them for three months. They still feel brand new.

I would say try going to a specialty running store and getting fitted. I wear Saucony running shoes I got matched with at a running store, but just because they work amazingly for me doesn't mean they'll work for you. They'll have you try on different shoes and run in them, and they'll do the whole process for free. The shoes may be pricey, but it's well worth it if you're doing long walks and runs and want to be comfortable. You can also let them match you with a shoe and then shop online or at another store for a cheaper price than what they're asking. :)

Either go to Jack Rabbit or Modell's and tell them that you walk and ask them to recommend something for you. Otherwise, go on Zappos or Amazon. There's plenty to choose from.

I didn't post on any of those, so my suggestion is new... at least to me. :)
