Bullying
This is far from Fun and Games and chit chat. There was no where else to put this, but people need to know about this. I'm talking about bullying. This goes far beyond what ANYONE should have to experience in life. Please read it and share it with as many people as you can.

I don't know. It makes me upset that this is happening, but there is a community that is supporting her https://www.facebook.com/imwithshea0 -
Sickening. Just sickening.0

now I'm crying at work
poor girl. I think she's beautiful! I can't believe how awful people can be.

it's Texas, what do you expect?
Sadly - this behavior towards special needs youths spans the animal kingdom0 -
The bullies are the ones with special needs...0

thats a good mama.0

Well... this is chit-chat even though its not a fun topic. That poor kid! I'm not sure if I feel more sorry for her for having to deal with that, or her tormentors, who obviously have some serious issues, and if they aren't found out, will enter the world with some pretty twisted expectations.0

This is the reason I budget a monthly bail fee and have lawyers.0

I didn't saw the link because I really don't want to get depressed but bullying in schools and irl is getting out of hands. Bullying isn't what it used to be. Bullying in school specifically was just about saying crap to other kids and trying to bring sadness to their lives but the bullying now in school is downright assault.0

There is a story in the news now about a 13 year old girl in FL who killed herself after a year of cyber-bullying including encouraging her to jump off a building (which she did). I guess the 24/7 access to pretty much anyone you want via social media and texting has made what used to be just regular playground bullying more relentless and, because you are physically removed from the person, more cruel. A lot of kids don't have the resources to deal with it. Very sad.0

This breaks my heart.0

This is so incredibly awful. Why someone would feel the need to make this beautiful young girl's life any harder is beyond me.
Is it cruelty, jealousy, or a mixture?0 -
They need to get some bonified hackers on the case. Track them down! Makes me sick.0

What the hell is wrong with people!0

It makes me angry more than anything. I want to find those kids and physically injure them.0

This breaks my heart in so many ways. At the start of the article it mentions she has the mental capacity of an 8 year old. My own daughter is 8 and I can say she is sweet, thoughtful, full of life, full of hope, and has such a wonderful attitude about life. I can't imagine many 8 year olds that don't.
That said, it kills me that anyone would want to break this girl's spirit. Her smile alone is enough to light up a room. I am sure her mom is just baffled at how to protect her child from such hurt. I truly hope they find the kids/adults who are doing this.0 -
Why are the police not able to trace the numbers those messages are coming from?
Then when they catch the culprits, sling them inside. Seriously, what they are doing is threatening and they are disgusting excuses for a human being.
Either start making examples or it will all get much worse0 -
First I was
Then I was :noway:
next I was
then trasitioned throughand
and finally made my way to :grumble::mad: :explode:
Whoever (detective, hacker, NSA) finally does track these "volunteers for one-way mission to Mars", I give a pre-emptive :drinker::flowerforyou:

I believe it's because they're generating the numbers using the smartphone apps that allow you to text for free. it's a separate # from the one you would use to make phone calls so I'm not sure they're traceable. it's unfortunate they haven't been using computers because there would at least be IP addresses to nail them down.0 -
Honestly, if this was one of my children, I'm not sure what I would do. I'm one of those people that snaps first and assesses the damage later when it comes to my kids.
Not that my kids have never been bullied, but this is just too far!!0 -
This :brokenheart: .0

there is no chance im going to read a story where the link mentions "special needs girl" and "tormented". im just not in the mood to read something like that. her tormenters should be punished to the absolute max.0

That is very sad. People are cruel and will use anything to put others down.0
