Workout: Quality vs Quantity

Options
I always here about this subject.
Like sprinting in place for 30 seconds on and off through the day or sprinting for a straight 30 minutes on a flat vs hilly terrain.

5 minutes of HIIT / circuit / Tabata training (1 circiut) or 1 hour of continuous running.

    Quality over Quantity.
That's the whole movement toward HIIT and other interval training - you don't need 60 minutes on the treadmill anymore.

Good cardio would keep your heart rate up for at least 20-30 minutes. 5 minutes here and there is alright, but not as effective as 20-30 minutes in a row of keeping your heart rate up.

But doing anything throughout the day is better than just sitting around on the couch watching TV.
