Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this question - but how reliable to people find the weighing/body fat machine scales at Boots?
I've used one and got a good body fat reading - now slightly concerned it might be unreliable? My height and weight were spot on, I just want to be sure the body fat is too so I can set my goals correctly. Anyone else had any experience with these?
Thanks!

Get a BodPod test done. Google for your nearest place that does it.
The electrical scales are not going to be accurate.

Thanks! I've had a look and can't seem to find one within a 100 mile radius of me!0

I used to work at a research unit that had a bodpod and one of the women who i worked with took part in some testing where a bodpod test was done and she came out as being obese even though she was at the correct weight for her height! i would go to your GP to see what tests they can do to check it's accurate
