The long journey ahead :)

Back again! The first time I used MFP to aid my efforts I lost 90 lbs - that was 2 years ago. Unfortunately I gained it back >.<

I have 200 lbs to lose and I am looking for balanced, positive and non-critical supporters/motivators. Adult females, 30+ preferred.

It is also really important to me that my "friends" do not engage in extreme or fad diets as that is not what I am looking for personally. I have a very ugly 15+ year history of disordered eating (anorexia turned bulimia turned binge eating) and I want to focus on realistic changes through a balanced diet and moving more to achieve lasting overall health :)

You can add me if you like.

I too have a long way to go.. Have been yoyo-dieting for years but hoping to stick to it this time.
  • I'm not over 30, just 27, but I also have a long journey ahead of me. Add me as a friend if you like!
  • Feel free to add me too. I log every day and love to give and receive encouragement along the way.

I just turned 38 and I have 100lbs to go. My diet plan is to stay within calories and get the proper nutrients. Exercise is now becoming a great habit as well. The best advice I can give you is to log your food on a daily basis. Sometimes, just knowing I have to log something will keep me from eating it. :-)

Also, know that every day will absolutely NOT go as planned and you are allowed to slip sometimes. Just get back up and start fresh with the new day.

    We can do this!!
