  • It's been a political stunt from the beginning that had an end date of 10/16. It shouldn't surprise anyone that they've managed to come to a deal today.

I'm so embarrassed by our so-called representatives. What must the world think of us? I wish the whole lot of them could be fired. Those self-rightous *kitten*. The other day Mitch McConnell was asked if he was getting paid while the government was shut down and he said... well, yes, how am I supposed to pay my mortgage? They don't even think about the people they laid off and the problems people who live from paycheck to paycheck are going through. Now I'm pissed off!!! and out of here! :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

    pffft.

The whole thing was theater anyway, nothing really changed, nor will anything change until we start voting out incumbents wholesale.

And, of course, the house will vote on it, they HAVE to vote on it. And the president has to sign it. Yes, it's predicted that this will all happen. . .but it is NOT by any stretch of the imagination "over"

I can't wait to watch Rachel Maddow and Melissa Harris-Perry tonight. It should be pretty off the chain.
