Boyfriend on maintenance - help!

My boyfriend has reached his goal weight, and is now on maintenance. But we're struggling to find clean(ish) high calorie foods to get him up to his target calories (2120) each day.
Has anyone got any suggestions please? He can't eat peanut butter and hates cold pasta and bananas before anyone goes down that road!

How do you define clean foods? Some people are so rigid with this definition that they needlessly eliminate nutrient dense foods that happen to be on the higher caloric side. Considering his adjusted TDEE, his food choices are quite open.0

Ribs, for sure.0

I buy, at our local discount club, some of that stuff in large and inexpensive quantities.
Walnuts
Pistachios
Dried fruit (cherries, blueberries, raisins, et cetera)
Almond butter
Cream
CHEESE
Chocolate chips (easy to portion)
Chicken (crock-pot it for easy cooking!)

Quinoa, brown rice, granola0

What is cleanish food?0

Ha! Almost said peanut butter. This is challenging. I think greek yogurt topped with food items like fruit, raisins, and maybe mixing protein powder in them is a great idea. Mainly just taking the foods you used to eat (oatmeal, salads) and just adding MORE to them. I am curious what to others have to say though! Also, congratulations to your boyfriend for reaching his goal weight!0

I can certainly understand eating "clean," if that's your dietary goal (not sure what your definition is, exactly, however).
It's hard to understand a male having problems hitting 2120 calories, however (clean or not).0 -
cheese
whole milk
ice cream
cashews
almonds
bread
potatoes
rice
avocados
orange juice
figs
dates
lentils
beans
This is SO easy. A toasted bagel with butter is 500 calories.
Anything a culture bases a traditional cuisine around has a lot of calories in it.0 -
Home made icecream with full fat cream and mix ins, full fat coconut cream, smoothies and juices, home made aoli or mayo added to meals, egg yolks0

Rice. If you're still eating at a deficit, make it just for him with his meals.0

The question should be, why does he feel he is struggling?
Seapoint Farms - Edamame Berry Blend
Nuts
Cheese
Greek Yogurt (full fat, low fat, etc.)
Dried Fruit
Full fat milk
Cream
Ricotta cheese
Coconut
Oils
Olives
Beans
Canned tuna
Whole grains
Process grains (breads, etc.)
Dates + blue cheese ... old standby
Banana + nut butter ... old standby #2
Raisins + nut butter ... old standby #3
Trail mix ... old standby #40 -
Thanks for the suggestions guys! By cleanish I meant nothing overly processed e.g crisps, chocolate, cake etc (the kind of stuff that got us on to mfp in the first place!)
Also many thanks to charchary for the grats! I will pass them on!0
