Favourite Kettlebell exercise

So I just got started with a dumbbell routine in the gym and am gradually working in more strength training. But I was eyeing up the kettlebells while in the weights section. No one seems to use them at all in my gym so I figured it might be nice to add in a few kettlebell exercises to my routine.
So anyone who uses them, what is your favourite kettlebell exercise?
I am guessing I should start with some easier moves as I imagine as they are quite “swingy” correct form is essential to make sure you don’t pull a muscle or something.

My favourite kettlebell exercises are kettlebell swings and turkish getups. Definitely start with a small kettlebel to practise!

I cant remember the name of it but I like the one where you squat with it in your hand then on the squat up push your hips out (whilst squeezing your bum cheeks)and pull the kettle bell up in front of you to shoulder height. I do 15 reps on each side and it really gives you an all over workout, you feel a bit daft doing it but it works!!0

Thanks I will check them out.0

Probably the snatch. I mainly just snatch. clean, press and swing. Saying that though I was messing around showing a friend how to snatch yesterday and injured my wrist. This is me being an idiot though - no intention of dissuading you0

2 hand anyway.
it's one of the few things I can't do with a dumbbell (well you can but it's just NOT the same)0 -
I got back to the kettlebells yesterday and I'm sore! It's a shame more people don't use them. Form is so important. I've been using the skogg system.0

I mostly just do squat swings (not sure what they're really called) with it. I'm a boring kettlebeller0

I usually do swings, snatches, overhead presses, squats and pushups (no bell) But I change it up often.0

Thanks everyone. I'll probably have to you tube these and make sure I am getting them right0

I do my kettlebell exercises at home by following fitnessblender.
You can do a search on their website that allows you to pick the kind of equipment you are using. They have tons!0 -
I LOVE Turkish get-ups! My fave!0

Get up's are a great movement. I'm a massive fan of windmills, too. Done with proper form they are both good 'core' exercises and great for shoulder rehab.
I've recently been doing double kb clean and jerks - nice explosive move and very different from other stuff.
Something I'm also in love with is Dan John's Kettlebell version of a Litvinov: KB swings followed immediately by a hill sprint. Repeat as many times as needed!0 -
Google Steve Cotter. He's a master with the kettlebell.
Don't do much with them but when I do it's usually Kettlebell Swings or Windmills0 -
Get ups and snatches. Now that I think of it, you could get a killer workout just doing some combination of those two things for about 15 minutes.0

I love windmills, the clean and press, figure 8s to a hold, and around the body passes (aka slingshot). I also really like doing a high pull and squat, especially when you kind of toss flip the bell.0

My fave is the one where you lay on your back - like you're going to do a situp - with a kettle bell (the ball portion) in one hand, then left up slightly and punch with that hand across to the other side of your body towards your waist (make sense?)
I always feel this in my stomach!!!0 -
Thanks everyone, looking forward to getting started with these!0

here are some good ideas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wchdd_Ms1h4
i do kb swings regularly, and snatches, goblet squats, lounges, turkish get ups and one leg deadlifts occasionally.0 -
Clean & Lifts, windmills, figure of eight ....to be honest I love working with kettlebells and don't really have a favorite but I definitely think that you should challenge your body to keep things interesting, if you are looking for workout ideas try this site: http://www.myomytv.com/0
