new to this....weight not coming off :(

Hello, I am new to this so I am looking for some advice on what works for you all. I have only lost three pounds in 6 weeks. Starting to wonder what I am doing wrong or what I could do differently. Would love to hear about quick easy meals and just some good tips on weigh loss!!!

    Weight loss takes time. Before I can give you some good advice I would need to see your diary. Are you doing any exercise? Are you under your calorie goal? Are you being honest and logging everything?

    There are many factors at play. Stay strong it will happen.

    It took 6 weeks for the scale to budge at ALL for me. You've made some progress so that's encouraging. Don't give up. Try new methods (as I'm sure many will give you suggestions here shortly), try new eating plans. Be determined!!

    Open your food diary so that people can have a look at it.
    Golden rules especially for beginners
    1. Don't guess, weigh and measure everthing, that includes YOU!!
    2. Log everything, even the smallest mouthful
    3. Set realistic goals, I have found the older I get the harder it is to lose weight
    4. Add some like aged / like minded friends to help, encourage and inspire you
    5. Be patient this isn't a race it's a lifestyle change.

    Food -> Settings, scroll to bottom and hit Public.
