I hate exercise!

I have been working out on the elliptical trainer, and boy, do I hate it. What I have found is that if I watch TV with commercials, I will start to watch the time I have left on the meter. If I watch something on demand cable (I've been watching the Tudors.) It holds my attention long enough so that 45 minutes is up in what seems to be a lot less time. I've been at this for two weeks so far and I will admit that I do feel better and it's helped my horse back riding but I still think it's unfair that cleaning horse stalls and riding for an hour a day isn't enough to keep the weight off any more.
After reading what I've written, I realize that I sound like a spoiled brat. But I'm really hating my age and my metabolism!

I know how you feel... I love to walk outdoors. But when the weather isn't good enough, I ride my stationary bike in the basement... UGH! It is so boring! I watch Sex and the City DVDs to get me through it!0

I'm in the same boat as you. I chase kids ALL DAY LONG! Change diapers, lift kids, get up and down on the floor playing with them..like 8 of them all day long..and it does NOTHING for my weight. I am not happy either with weight..but the kids are fun..0
