Needing some support and motivation

This is my first time posting on here. I was doing really well. I am at the end of losing weight and hopefully soon will be concentrating on maintaining, but over the last month or so I have been eating a lot at night and not all of it good, I eat healthy throughout the day and then at night sometimes I snap and eat a lot more than I should. I do intense workouts, advanced Turbofire and I was looking so lean and trim. Now every time I look at myself in the mirror I feel like I look huge. I have only gained about 2 pounds because once I am back to eating healthy with my workout regimen then the scale goes down within a week to my normal weight. Everything feels tighter this time though. I fit in all my clothes and everything but feel like my butt grew is that possible even though my measurements didn't change inches wise? I am back on the wagon now, but curious how long anyone thinks it will take of clean eating and working out (I workout at least an hour 6 days a week plus walking) before I feel normal again. Is some of it just puffiness or did I really gain a lot even though my inches and the scale tell me I haven't. I know you can't really answer but any suggestions or anyone who has been there who could respond I would really appreciate it.

First of all, congrats on getting it back together after your slip when many people would just give up! You ROCK!

Secondly, and hopefully you don't take this the wrong way (don't you HATE it when people say that?!) but I'm wondering if because absolutely no numbers have changed at all and you still fit into your clothes that maybe this is just all you? In other words, you might be feeling guilty so you THINK your bum-bum grew? I know that when I have a bad day or two (or three or four) and I look at myself in the mirror I feel like I haven't lost a THING when there is all evidence to the contrary.

Try not even THINKING about your past slip and continue doing the good work you HAVE been doing and instead of thinking of yourself as having a bigger butt, remind yourself of all the hard work you're doing and that it IS paying off! The numbers haven't changed but your MINDSET has! How long it'll take for you to feel "normal" again is most likely entirely up to you.

In the end, maybe you were a bit bloated? In that case, make sure you drink a LOT of water and that should do it.

Does that help at ALL? I know it can be so hard to work on the mindset aspect of weight loss but just take it one day at a time! :)

    Feel free to friend me!

Thanks for your response. It definitely made me smile and I didn't take it the wrong way at all. :) I was wondering the same thing, if it was all in my head. That is why I posted haha. Thank you. It was so nice to hear words of encouragement.

I notice you use the word "feel" alot. Could be you are being emotional instead of scientific. Measure, measure, measure. You are psyching yourself out. Keep logging accurately until your maintenance level is a habit.

Enjoy that tight bod and live your life!!
