Abs daily or not?

When I was a teenager I did 500 crunches a day trying to get Britney abs...didn't do a damn thing.
Dropped a stone with diet and total body workouts - abs more chiselled than ever!
why assume the crunches were of no benefit?

My Advice do your core as much as possible by combining with your usual gym workout. If you want killer definition, rip up with a sensible diet.
If your still unhappy then target those abs until it hurts.
in other words, by only doing plenty of core exercises this might give you a look your happy with, if not then reduce your body fat, if that isn't enough then focus.
Don't get sucked into other peoples definition of what looks good.0 -
For fast abs, use heavy compounds.... Bring that squat up to 2x BW for reps and deadlift to 2.5x BW for reps and bench to 1.5x BW for reps. Then shed the fat using proper nutrition and dieting. Done deal.0

I should probably say that my ab routine is over in less then five minutes. not easy but its over fast and i always experience a pump in my core.
if its really a waste of time, at least 15 min out of a week isn't much time to waste lol0
