I'm having a 20" pancake tonight.

Butter or syrup?

Please discuss.

I'm confused as to why this needs discussion - you are eating it, what do you want to eat? There's your answer. Just for conversation, my pancake preference is blueberry, topped with strawberries, whipped cream, butter and syrup.

Mixed some chocolate chips in the batter. The top with PB and whipped cream.

Add chocolate chips to the batter, or bananas..or both. Smother on some real butter and drown in maple syrup. Wash down with ice cold cup of milk. :drinker:

I use the buckwheat pancake mix, and I use coconut oil in place of the oil to cook it in as well as for a substitute for the butter, I would smooth on top of it. I use 1% milk, a large brown organic egg, and the coconut oil for the batter too. I then chop up some fresh cranberries and throw them in the batter. After I cook my pancakes I will put some canned drained peach pieces on top with a sliced banana, cinnamon, nutmeg, 2 squirts of whip cream and some All-natural strawberry syrup on top. Delicious! I have also been know to put raspberries in the batter and sliced kiwi fruit on top.
