    Hi Im 5ft 3 and have just joined with a SW of 143 Im looking to lose 21lb - I really struggle to eat 1200 calories in a day which I think is having an effect on my weight loss - Any tips?

    You should up your intake. I started at 146, with a suggested intake of 1370, and I try to burn about 500 a day and eat most of that back, and I'm losing steadily at eating between 1500-2000 cals a day.

    5'2 3/4" here!

    SW: over 205lbs though I'm not sure just how much more.
    CW: 172lbs.
    GW: around 145lbs though I'm already happy where I am. I started lifting to get more muscle definition so what the scale says from now on is less important to me than what the tape measure says...:)

    Calculating my TDEE was one of the best things I ever did...I highly recommend it!

    (I'm 5'0)

    CW: 105lbs
    GW: 103lbs

    It's been 6 months, only 2 more pounds to go!

    Got a couple more pounds to go. Mainly in my butt and a bit in my arms. As I tone more in the next couple weeks, along with eating healthy I imagine I'll reach it.

    I'm 5'1" (or 157 for the metric minded)
    At my biggest I was 160lbs (73kg), now I'm I43lbs (65kg) and I'm aiming at 121lbs (55kg)

    It doesn't take a big weight gain for me to look bigger, but on the upside I only lost 3 kg before people started noticing.

    ^^^ Not sure about my goal weight. I had my bodyfat % measured at the gym, it's 25% so I'm going to get it down to about 23%. I don't know what weight I'd have to get to so I'm just guessing at 130. I just started weight training last week and am hoping this will help. :)

    weight - 112-114 (it keeps changing the samn thing even upto 120 at times!) (changing on a day to day basis......)
    goal weight 107-105
    big boned and even a gain of a pound can be seen. have huge thighs and bum! FEB 2013 my weight was 104-104 pounds i was dissapearing hips up and my legs were....... gigantic!

    4'11.5" here. I'm in the 120s but I'm not sure my exact weight since I weigh myself only once or twice a month. My goal weight is 105-110 (but that's my normal weight). This is the heaviest I've ever been and I'm just trying to get back to normal.

    I eat 1200 calories and if I exercise, I eat the calories so that I am always never below 1200
    I experience steady weight loss if I stick with my plan. I experience steady weight gain if I don't. I am post menopause by 16 years (early onset) and I must say that it has been the yucky difference. I was never above 107 for most of my adolescent through adult years. It has been a *****.

    Bmr is 1260 and 1425(other site)

    I take in 1200 calories on rest/normal days.
    On reset days I takein 1400-1700 calories.

    I do light exercise only like desk cycling or arm bike. But not daily. Just when I feel like it. :D

    MFP put me on 1200 cals, thought I earn more through exercise: Curves (with Smart tag) almost every day, plus I use a FitBit One to make sure I burn about 2450 cals a day through walking as well. So far I've lost about 1.4lb a week on average since I started this in April this year, though recent holidays and visitors have slowed that a bit!

    Although I would be fine to be at 130 if I was toned and fit. I have so many people tell me I don't need to lose anymore weight, but I know what is under my clothes!
