Trying not to weigh in.

My training is advising me not to weigh every day , however I still do and I see a gain of 4-5 pounds up and down every two days .. I can feel the difference but my goal is to lose about 10-15 pounds so this bothers me... I do 3 sessions of 45 mins cardio and training then after the session my trainer does weight training 30-45 min 3 times a week... I try to do 2-3 days of at least cardio 30 mins on my off days when I am not with my trainier...... I am starting to feel worried as the numbers on the scale are going up and I don't want to lose my desire.

This is why you shouldn't weigh every day! Body weight fluctuates naturally depending on how much you have eaten, how much you pee or poop, time of the month, sodium intake, how much you exercised, how much you didn't exercise, phase of the moon, if you hd sex that morning, if Saturn is in phase with Uranus, how pink the sunset was and how many Martians have landed on earth last week! Weigh at the same time every week wearing the same clothes (or not as the case may be!) and you will stand a better chance of getting a steady result!0

If you don't want to know the answer stay off the scales we all fluxuate, I weigh daily and gain almost as often as I lose. There are to many variables to worry about it, if the trend over time is going the right way you are succeeding otherwise check accuracy of your logging and calculations!0

I tried forever to not weigh everyday. It's just so tempting. I weigh every day and track it. It's a cool graph. Each month around my period I have about 2 major spikes in weight that kinda look like batman, lol. When you gain it is annoying, but just know it's water weight. Use it as fuel in your exercising to try to get tomorrow to be lower. Keep up the exercising and eating at a calorie deficit and you will reach your goal.0

I weigh everyday, but then again, I don't let any upward fluctuations get to me, as I know that unless I'm doing something wrong, they will be countered by a larger downward fluctuation shortly after. I use an app called Libra, which shows the overall trend rather than just "up down up down". As long as I'm under the trend line the majority of the time, and the trend still points down towards my goal, it doesn't bother me. Of course, if that isn't the case and the trend starts going the other way, I know that I'm not doing something right, and take steps to correct it.
Also, I'm a numbers geek and love analysing data... :glasses:0 -
the fact that you feel worried and are thinking about losing your desire to continue is exactly why your trainer tells you not to do it..0
