calorie intake

Hello there,

Curious to know what everyone calorie intake in a day is.

What do you do to stop snacking in the evening ( my worst time)

What are your thoughts on adding supplements to your day

It really depends on how much activity I get and the kinds of food I have during the day. If I start off eating all carbs then I'm just setting myself up to fail for the whole day. It's very hard for me to get back on track that day once I start it. It also means that I started out the day stressed out and the emotional eating happens throughout the day.

However, I must say that since I started having chia seeds in my afternoon yogurt I've been having a much better time at night when it comes to eating. I was also doing it in the morning, but I seem to not need it as much in the morning (at least last week it seemed to be fine not to). I'll see how it goes this week.

The higher the protein and fiber I eat during the day the less inclined feel like eating in the evening.
  • I found that after I split my intake into 5 meals a day (3main meals and 2snacks) I am much less inclined to snack in the evening. Plus learning about what is in junk food has totally put me off it ew, would much rather have some bulgar wheat and salad!
  • I'm only now relizing that i can have a whole meal of shrimp brown rice veggies and sauce and its still lower in calories than 2 poptarts..... i use to think it was about eating less, now i know better. asd soon as i get comfortable counting calories i'll split it into 5 meals for now I'm on 3
