my "muffin top"...

is 98% gone!!! i noticed the monday morning that the indent i normal feel on my hips went from the side, to the front! Which means not only am i losing fat from my sides, but im gaining sexy hip muscles in the front!

Not to mention i spent the last 10 weeks only doing one set per body part (due to fibromyalgia), and now im up to 2!

    What did you do? I am 151 at 5'9" but my muffin top is so big! I wish we could pick where the weight cones off!
  • i wish we could too! my body just chose to take from that area this month. i work all body areas evenly with a little bit more focus on my core area but that really doesnt matter. what worked for me is eating at an average of a 500-300 cal deficit while lifting as much as i could without injury as well as floor exercises such as scissor kicks, planks, crunches, side leg lifts, hip thrusts, etc...

    I'm hoping to start weight lifting program next week. I have been just eating in deficit and doing cardio here and there...I know weight lifting will help, but surgery may be required in the end...I just inherited non stretchy skin and having 5 kids didn't help...
  • lifting helps with everything. You can look up lifting threads on here and find a plethora of ladies with extra skin whose body improved while weightlifting. i did cardio for 6 months with very little improvement regarding body composition. almost all my inches lost is due to lifting. i 110% recommend it.

    i had to check the mirror after i felt it cause i was like, wtf? this practically happened overnight! probably not though, it was prolly just a progress notice moment :)

    Awesome! Good job! I hate my muffin top and can't wait until I can wear my pre pregnancy (or be the size I was when I got married) jeans and not have it. :-)

    That's amazing !! You must look fantastic. I started lifting because of stories like yours, it really defines abs I believe.
