I have not been posting much in the forums, but it's time to break the silence for a change. I've hit three milestones in my weight loss. I have:
* Lost 40 pounds.
* Gotten below the Obese line on the BMI chart.
* Gotten under 200 pounds for the first time in 12 years.

I started going to the gym in March 2010. I started using MyFitnessPal at the end of August, 2010 when I had hit a total stall in my weight loss. I had lost 15 pounds, but needed something to get the pounds coming off again. MFP has been exactly the thing I needed, and the Android app makes it even easier.

The first image is from my trip to Las Vegas in August 2009. This photo had a small part in making me realize that I had gotten heavier than I liked. I'm 240 pounds here.

Below is how I look as of this posting. At 199.6 pounds.

    Awesome job!! I cannot wait until I can have those 3 milestones to brag about.....haha!! You look so much younger its amazing, because people I know who have lost alot of weight always tend to look older the more weight they lose. Keep up the great work - you're and inspiration to people like me :)

    I still have another 35 pounds before I get down to where the doctor (and the BMI chart) think I need to be. This helps keep the motivation for sure!

    I have weened myself to the point where I'm down to 1500 calories a day and going to the gym 3 times a week. My gym trip is usually 60 minutes on the elliptical doing intervals, and I get to go 2-3 times a week depending on school, work, and family engagements.

    After a rough week last week where I lost nothing, I have lost 2 pounds this week.
