Skipping?

Hi Everyone,

At the moment i've got a big exam coming up for work so i'm basically getting in and doing as much work as I can for it. It puts a hold on me going to the gym on a weeknight as i only really have 4/5 hours spare once getting in from work, and taking 2/2.5 hours out to get to the gym (it takes about 20 minutes to travel there, 20 minutes back, then shower etc!) and with housework etc, I can't get enough time to sit down and do the work i need to.

I can go to the gym of a weekend but I was thinking of maybe buying a skipping rope and doing 10 minutes or so after every 45 minutes of revision? Is it an effective thing to do? Or would a home workout plan be more effective?

I just want to do something as my usual trick is to just not do any exercise and all and use the exams as an excuse.

Any suggestions would be welcome :) it's only for about 3 or 4 weeks, but I have 5 or so exams to do so i'll be having this problem often.

Thanks!

I know the feeling, when doing my exams for work it is a killer trying to find time for it. What are you studying?

I like the idea of skipping, and boxers prove it is a good work out so why not give it a try?

Skipping is great excersize! It burns a lot of calories in a short time too. Just watch out for your knees as skipping is hard on them!
