Very impressive! The hard work has certainly paid off! I was intrigued by your thread because my starting weight before I joined MFP was 262, as well. I have now hit my goal of being below 200 and plan on never going back there! I haven't tried running yet, but it is certainly on my bucket list to try. Keep up the amazing work!0

Thanks everyone for the responses. I know that all of you have it in you to achieve your goals. Just keep on believing in yourself. Hope you don't mind me adding some friends, will be great to be part of the community. Keep running, walking ... and eating, but in the right balance!!0

Hi Kirsty
Best advice I can give is to do everything in your own time at your own pace - that way, you will enjoy it. The worst thing is if you push yourself too hard and don't enjoy. Sure, it will hurt at first, but you'll feel so amazing after every session. Wishing you the best of luck.

Fricking awesome dude. I like running too and as you "I couldn't run a bath" early this year.
I've running 5k races and be running an 8K race in two weeks but I haven't had the sphericals to go for a half marathon.
You definitely has inspired me so I'm gonna give it a try next year.
Kudos to you bro0 -
What an amazing transformation. Congratulations!0

Fantastic job!! I didn't have as much weight to lose, but I know the sense of accomplishment from completing a half marathon. I ran my 4th a month ago and placed 4th in my age group!! This Sunday I'm going for my first FULL marathon (and likely only one...ugh training is rough).
Keep on running. It is soo fulfilling and rewarding!!0 -
Amazing achievement , well done. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0
