      Yes I noticed that as well. it suddenly dawned on me that she wasn't appearing on my news feed any more. Ah well, I hope she's OK.

      She not said anything to anyone? Most strange.

      A lass I spoke to a lot on here has vanished. Said nothing in over a month, hasn't responded to Kiks, came on three days ago to deactivate her account. Quite concerned now.

      Not the first time it's happened either. This site clearly drives people to insanity. Or maybe I do. But I prefer to think it's the site.

      It's funny how people just up and disappear. One minute they're all gung ho and super active and the next they're deactivated.

      It's probably the forums that does it!

      Just a few finishing touches and some more unpacking and we're done. It's only taken 4.5 months!

      Why no hols? That can't possibly be a good thing.

      Ah its me being stubborn and shooting myself in the foot. My OH never organises anything and every year I say I'm not going to do it again but every year I sort out a holiday. This year I stuck by my statement and left it to him to arrange.... So we didn't go anywhere.
      Only backfired a little :tongue: Well maybe by next year he'll think of either sorting it or at least doing it together.

      Yep, that's a definite cutting off your nose to spite your face! I have the same problem but usually just end up doing it myself.

      Have you at least just had some time away from the office?

      Funny, I found another KOD type thread where the same thing is happening - just one lone person popping in every now and then. All good things must come to an end I guess.

      Did you ever get that holiday sorted?

      I did but it was a complete disaster. We went to Egypt, been before and loved it but this time it was horrible. We have sent the company a complaint but waiting to here back.
      At least it was a break from work though.

      Yep, decorating all finished now. Just the tidying to be finished now, curtains to be hemmed and a few more boxes to come down from the loft. Had a 3 week holiday too, which was awesome.

      The staff were rude, kept insulting us, they would never call me by my name only white evil. The beach was 2" of sand, the food was disgusting, made us ill after 2 1/2 days then we stopped eating in the hotel, the drinks were out of date and so on and so on...

      It was BAD!

      I booked it in the end. He did put in a little effort on line and then went to a travel agents on his own so then I found this one online, reviews were ok so I booked it.

      My God, that sounds horrendous. I'd be complaining all over the place. Hope you get some sort of apology - preferably in the form of a refund!!

      We had 2 and a bit weeks in Zimbabwe and then 2 nights in Dubai on the way home. Zim was staying with husband's family so we were well looked after but even when we travelled around everything was fantastic. Lovely country with such nice people. I still don't think I've managed to get my head around Dubai. What a funny place!
