What are you passionate about?

That is my hope one day!0 -
physical competition. Doesn't matter what. I just lay around and get fat without it.
Lifting tames the beast in the absence of direct competion. Fishing or golf work as well.
5 on 5 pick up basketball games are my favorite. I SUCK so I have to outwork people and I love the effort I have to give to stay competitive there.0 -

Cardio and lifting for me!
What keeps me going is my refusal use having kids as an excuse to be out of shape and to keep all of my mommy "friends" hating me. :bigsmile:

I thrive on being able to change and maintain my body. Setbacks (like my tricky back) freaking kill me. I'm not so competitive, unless I'm on a team. I will go for the win for others, but not necessarily for myself.0

I enjoy both!
Running is as much a mental exercise for me as it is physical. When I'm running around my neighborhood or on trails in my area I sort out so much mental garbage. It's like running is a dumping ground for all the crap I need to get out of my head.
Lifting makes me feel strong physically and mentally. Setting goals for myself whether it's reps or weight and then achieving them gives me a feeling of accomplishment. It keeps me moving forward. I struggle terribly with the person I see in the mirror a lot of days but the person I see in the mirror when I'm lifting is a badass. I LOVE that b!tch.0 -

Seeing my stats go up. Hitting new PR. Going shopping and knowing everything in my size will look good without needing to try it on.0 -
Running (outdoors) started me on this and kept me going when I didn't want to anymore. I have an awesome trail by my place that is fantastic to run on- not too busy so great solitude... it meanders along beside a creek and is in the woods so wonderful fresh air, even though the city's all around us.. friendly people (or at least ppl who don't bother you)... and then I also run with my fiance so it's great bonding as well. Have more recently started running on a treadmill and it's great to be able to maintain a quicker pace or see how much further I can go.
I've only just started strength training, though seeing gains so quickly is also very motivating.0 -
City walking.
I like lifting and competing in races and trail running in the forest, but really nothing makes me feel both calm and excited like walking through a decently sized city. When I'm home I walk through the burbs with my dogs or my mom or my sister. It's a great way to socialize and to spend some nice alone time.
Walking is an underrated exercise.0 -

Definitely lifting. Especially when I up my personal best. I feel like I can compete against myself and there is so much room for growth. After lifting, I feel like I actually accomplished something.0

I have two - Kickboxing and Yoga
Kickboxing is a mega stress release.
Yoga is excellent for the body and mind. But let's be honest... I just want to be as bendy as I can be!!0 -
What are you passionate about? I am still figuring that part out but right now races... want to do them all.
Do you run in the open air? Sometimes (if you can call it running) - all though now its getting colder and I have to retreat indoors and I am unhappy
Do you lift heavy? Not yet.

Neither. But I'd love to start running. The problem is when I do I feel like I can't breathe. I need to get the breathing technique down instead of sucking air and panicking.0
