Starting to Run

I have been a runner now for 2 years. 2 weeks ago I ran my first half marathon, but working up to that did not happen overnight. Reading this took me back to when I first started. It could have been written by Bridget Jones, and I certainly could relate!

This was just what I needed as I face my first 10K (much shorter than a marathon but my first race of any kind) this Sunday.

Knock ' em dead! Here is someone else very motivating: Jeff Galloway, an Olympian runner in the 1970's. Promotes a gentle approach of run/walk intervals to get you through any distance. : www.JeffGalloway.com I have met and talked to him in person- he is a great guy!
