You know who you are. Your call into the Dennis and Judy this morning was great and I want to send you a FR.

Other pals - it was another wonderful MFP success story. The radio show topic was about the controversial facebook picture of the fit mom and her 3 kids. Our NJ pal talked about just doing it - her journey from overweight to marathon runner. And using MFP along the way! Good stuff.

I do know your first name, but don't know if you use it here - so I won't mention it!

    That's a success story, how great that MFP has helped us all, come out come out, i'd like to friend you i'm a runner as well and looking to make to that marathon that has eluded me over the years.....but this is about you, come on let's talk about your story of inspiration it's the kind of a things that everyone needs to hear.

    I saw nothing wrong with that picture, and couldn't for the life of me figure out why people had a problem with it. What was the tone of the Radio call in show?

    As a Jersey girl now living in Northern California, I can tell you that this story has been big around here as Maria Kang (the mom in question) is from Sacramento.

    She's a tough girl and I think she is fantastic. I think the reaction to the picture was overblown and ridiculous. Maria's intention was not to shame anyone but to inspire someone who's thought was as a busy mom, " I can't do this". She was trying to inspire (mostly women) to take the time to take care of themselves. I, for one was NOT offended by her picture.

    I am out of the loop as to the call to 101.5. Can someone fill me in?

    Awesome!! I hope to run a half one day - possibly next year :)

    I didn't see anything wrong with that picture either--it made me say to myself "holy crap! she did that in 8 months and my youngest is 9 YEARS....I better GET OFF MY BUTT!!!"

    Anyone that complained is nuts.
