If I am being perfectly honest with myself and the OP, I actually do like it better than bacon bacon. But, since I don't want to be a hypocrite, or a target . . .HOW DARE YOU MENTION TURKEY BACON WHEN PORK BACON IS THE ONLY BACON (grabs pitchfork).

The "turkey" in "turkey bacon" operates in a limiting/altering manner in the same way that "faux" does when used in the descriptive phrase "faux fur coat".

    Agreed!!
an abomination of all that is holy and right in this world. It is a blasphemous mockery of all that is bacon, essentially by erroneously calling itself such a wonderful thing as bacon and shaming the mere mention of the word by its presence. Be gone with your turkey bacon you heathen, and go do crossfit to get big.

You took the words right out of my mouth :).

a cruel mockery of real bacon.

That said, I actually don't mind it.

i like it. its quick to cook, and a nice little chunk of protein.

I like real bacon too...just depends on what I'm cooking

PS-I've developed a love for turkey pepperoni. I prefer it to the real stuff.
