What's your average gym workout?

Hi Everyone,

So i've been pretty slack at the gym lately and can't afford a PT.
I need to set myself a routine but don't really know where to start.

So i'm hoping some of you girls and share your gym workout routines?
I generally only spend an hour at the gym at a time...

I appreciate your input! :)

    I usually Do 20-30 minutes on the elliptical and 20-30 minutes on the stationary bike or arc trainer and then about 15 minutes on the strength machines.

    My PT has me doing this:
    10 minutes cardio
    30 minutes strength training
    20 minutes cardio

    I vary, as do my workouts. Think that actually helps not get bored lol here are a couple I work through:

    25 mins on each of the three types of ellipticals
    crunches
    Squats (both weighted)

    Strength on weight machines (lat pull downs, bench press, leg press, leg extension, arm extension, arm curls)

    I tend to always do the strength stuff but again I mix it up.

    Other days I'll run between 5-10k and the row for 20-30 mins

    If got a lot of energy il run 5k, bike 20k and swim 1000m (my own version of a sprint triathlon)

    But every now and again il do a nice long run and weights.

    Think mixing it up helps both not get bored and also with working out your whole body. If time is an issue though, rowing does work the whole body :)

    Classes.. I find Classes at the gym so good to keep the cardio up as you want to keep up with everyone else in the class.
