New Girl, Looking for Support Buddies!

I'm 27, weighed 200 when I started this week. I'm already down 2 lbs. My highest was 240, which is pretty bad because I'm only 5'3". I had my baby and lost 30. Then I started Herbalife :/ I actually gained 3 lbs using it for 3 months. When I stopped drinking it I lost 13lbs in a couple weeks. I want to get down to 150, maybe lower if possible. I just want to see sexy when I look in the mirror, and I want my hubby to be proud of me:)

Now I'm just trying strict dieting, with foods that I enjoy.....and lots of exercise! Lucky for me my big sis just became a zumba instructor, so I'll be doing that a few times a week.

I've been browsing and I see so many people that have lost 100lbs or more and I'm just dying to know how they did it. What is your daily meal plan look like? What was your motivation to stick with it....and not cheat?

Also, I keep seeing people say "NSV", which apparently means non-scale victory. What are some examples of NSV's that keep you motivated?

Please add me!

Hey and welcome! I've only been here a few months, but I have to say it's been an awesome few months. My motivation to stick with the plan and not "cheat" is simple. Willpower. :P

Really though, just lurk around and absorb a lot of the info people put out there. Read the success stories for motivation and tips. Browse through peoples' food diaries for ideas on what to eat. Or just ask what's on your mind!

Feel free to add me if you like.

Hi there, nice to meet you...I sent a friend request. I have been at it for a while, previously I used a different site but migrated here and really love it. I've had some struggles with my willpower and a few up and downs but now I think I finally have a handle on it. We have similar weight loss goals, so lets motivate each other to keep at it! I hope to get to my goal by mid-summer.

WAY TO FREAKING GO GIRL!!!!! I don't have as much to loose as you, but I have some of the same reasons, I want to look in that mirror and be proud! :)

so NSV example.... 2 yrs ago I lost weight and bought some new summer cloths! (exciting right?) Except that this summer those shorts wouldn't even button up :( Well there's snow outside but I wore those babies for 2 hours yesterday (around the house) just cause they fit again! :)

Another NSV.... my profile pic is me ontop of Tunnel Mountain in Banff Alberta. Climbed that baby on vacation, only took an hour (and 2 ashma attacks cause of the high altitude) to reach the summit, but I did it just in time for the sunrise!! :D

Anyways I'll send you a friend request :)

One recent non scale victory was not being able to wear my favorite belt anymore - it is too big!

    Best of luck to you.
