I'm back, I quit trying for a while since I wasn't getting results. I have not been able to lose weight with watching what I eat and exercising. I cut out all soda & fast foods for 6 weeks and kept exercising and didn't lose 1 lbs!

The only way I've been able to lose weight since having my kids is to cut my calories to no more than 1000 a day. Its not healthy or maintainable. I lost 40 lbs but of course gained it all back.

I really need to lose this weight but I don't know whta to do.

HELP!!!!

Set a realistic budget and stick to it. Weigh and measure all your food and log everything. Eat back no more than 50 % of your exercise calories. No one has to eat less than 1,000 calories to lose weight.

MFP works, but you didn't put the weight on in 6 weeks so you won't lose it in 6 weeks either!

Set MFP to lose 1lb per week, get a decent workout programme with some cardio & some strength/resistance and eat back your exercise cals.... And more than anything be patient!

    That's about it...

I understand I didn't put it on in 6 weeks but I didn't lose ANYTHING those 6 weeks. Also, I was simply making an example of those 6 weeks. I did MFP for over a year! I was able to lose around 15 pounds but couldn't lose more. I am very feeling like its not going to happen.

Then something wasn't right. Your calorie intake was overestimated and/or your calorie burns were overestimated.

Did you accurately weigh everything on a food scale? If not, this is where you start, you are probably eating more than you think.

Quitting is never the answer when you're stalled.

    Adjusting your math is.
