Diary open.... Help

Ok so I HATE to do this but I'm a bit desperate. I'm pretty happy with where I'm at I'm 5'2 CW 140 SW 183 UGW 132. I had major knee surgery last July and I just started working out again 8/09/13. Any help would be super amazingly helpful! Help me meet my goal... Ppppllllleeeeaaasssseee

Do you never eat breakfast? And one day was pizza and popcorn, I'd be starving. You need to eat at your goal and maybe less fast food and more fruits and veggies. What kind of chef salad is only 100 cals??? Make sure you log everything and accurately!!

With only 8 lbs to lose, 1200 calories is too aggressive. Definitely up them. I'd change MFP settings to lose .5/lbs a week.

I do eat a random yogurt in the mornings like a danimals 60 cal. But no I really don't... That's a good point. I try to eat half my exercise cals back

Chef salad lol was lettuce and ham no dressing figured that wax close to 100. But I'll def try to look at my listings more carefully.

Ok so 1350 I've never thought of changing my weekly goal it's at 2 pounds a week so I'll change that thank you!!

So first of all I am by no means an expert at all. I looked back about one week and a couple things jumped out at me. First and foremost you are not drinking any water (or not logging it), or anything else for that matter. Is that accurate? I find that drinking plenty of water helps keep me from overeating and it energizes and flushes my body. Drink more water!! I noticed that you are not eating breakfast. I find that eating breakfast sets the tone for my day in the whole eating/logging department. I never used to eat breakfast but it is now a habit and easy to do quickly. My easiest, top choice is 1/2 cup Bran Flakes, 1/2 Banana, 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk. I would suggest trying to eat more often so that when you get to your dinner time you still have the will power to make a great healthy choice.
If you only have a few pounds to lose I would suggest upping your intake and increasing your exercise. Keep in mind that if you lost all your weight without exercise you may not lose pounds but inches instead and change your shape.

Once again, just a fellow MFP-er giving an opinion, nothing more. Good luck!

Hi!! Yes I drink tons of water just don't log it... Also drink lots of diet soda hehe I don't log them either! Good idea with breakfast I'm going to add that into my "new" plan... Aldo up my calories to 1350 few a few months and see where that goes. Thank you for your helpful advice!!

I think your TDEE calculation is off. It should probably be closer to 2000-2100. If it were me, I would up calories with that little left to lose so that maintenance becomes easier. Either 1800 each day and don't eat back exercise, or 1500-1600 a day and do eat back exercise calories (or at least most of them). I wouldn't jump up the calories that much at once though, but rather add 100 every few days until you get up to your new goal.
