choosing a calorie goal in the Settings

Hello there! I'm brand new and just setting up my account. After consulting with my cardiologist, we came to an agreement that I should be shooting for approximately 1350 calories a day. No matter how much I change the settings -- number of days I will work out, amount of time I will work out, how many pounds I want to lose per week, I can't seem to get anything other than 1200 or 1450. Isn't there any way I can set this up so that I'm working with that calorie goal? If not, I'm off to a bad start and may just have to find some other program. Thanks for your help. :-)

You should be able to type it in manually. I started quite low at about 1400 cals and after a few weeks of losses it stopped and I had to listen to mfp and up my calories. Put in all my details to lose 2lbs a week and was out up to 1600 a day. But as I've lost the weight, you click to change the lbs per week lost bit and it updates your calories so I'm back down to 1400 now and still losing 2lbs a week consistently.
So you should just go to your goal editing page or do it on the app and type it in by clicking on the calorie goal.0 -
Thank you, Lisa! I will try again. But I'm not doing it on a smart phone app. I'm just doing it on my computer. I don't know if that makes a difference. Anyway, I'll take another look at it. Congratulations on your weight loss!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome, girl! You must be so very pleased! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy your success.0
