Trying to find low calorie mini pizzas?

So luncheables has "Extra cheesey" pizza's for 270 calories a pack. At 3 pizza's each that's 90 calories per mini pizza.

But luncheables are too expensive to buy in bulk. So how can I make my own low calorie pizza?

I find tons of people who claim to have low calorie foods, but when you add up the numbers they are high.

Here is what I've learned over time: buying ANYTHING premade is expensive and unnecessary. (this includes those breakfast sandwiches, 100 calorie packs, individual wrapped baby carrots, ANYTHING)

It is so much better making your own using sandwich/freezer bags.

Here are my versions of pizzas that I eat SO often: I buy whole wheat English muffins (Thomas ones specifically) they're about 120 calories.
I buy just canned pizza sauce from whole foods. 55g (which is MORE than enough to spread over the two halves of the muffin) 20 calories
and Fat free/low fat mozzarella cheese: 40-70 calories for 1/4th a cup depending on what kind you go with.

I toast the muffin in the toaster.
top it with the sauce and cheese and put it on a baking sheet in the oven for a few minutes. BOOM delicious little pizzas WAY better than any frozen/"healthy," kind.
Best of all, you can make them just like i just said and put them in tiny freezer bags and freeze them for later. Just toss it in the microwave for a minute.

mine are around 185 calories (I use fat free cheese)

I made my own mini pizzas using pita bread and low-fat pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. I also have a basil plant on my windowsill so I add some of that for a margherita pizza. Then it all goes in the toaster oven for just long enough for the cheese to melt. Calorie-wise it's still around 300, but you get a 6-inch personal pizza that tastes sooo much better than some dinky lunchables (and let's be honest, 300 calories for lunch isn't bad at all!)

I second the Pita Pizzas. You can add turkey sausage or turkey pepperoni to add some protein, and load up on the veggies using anything you want...from asparagus to squash if you wanted.

Flatbreads (flatbread wow brand i think) cut into halves.
Layer cheese (swiss or provolone are my absolute favorite white cheeses)
Veggies (if frozen, thaw and drain)
Sauce (premade or get a huge can of tomato sauce and divide it for different types)

Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.

This is what I do, I use the Joseph's pita bread, because they are so low in calories.

I do the English muffin pizzas too, but sometimes it doesn't cut it.
