How much do I look like I weigh?

Options
Without checking out my info, how much do you think i weigh? I'm 5"3.5 and told I am a fine weight, but I don't want to be just fine. I just have really low self esteem.

@sarah, I don't know what the scale says, but you look better than fine. I'm sure your esteem will be boosted in the next few posts.

    Let me say this...
I just now looked at your profile....

You are 18 and seem to be very insecure.....
Stop that now, and don't compare to people around you.
    We are all different......
I would love to look like Chris Evans or Chris Hemsworth......truth of it, I never will.

But I don't validate myself based on that......

    You should do the same.

questions like this are usually dangerous, and a slippery slope.

But as far as I can see, the only thing wrong with you is your esteem.

That being said you need to decide what is right for you.

your self esteem isn't going to change with weight. Though, it appears you would be the perfect weight for your height, you are the one who needs to be happy with it and yourself.

The girls around you must look like stick insects :P
The ONLY reason you should lose weight is for you and you alone, if you can seriously look in the mirror and think you look fat, go and see an eating disorder specialist now, before it's too late.

hard to say from the picture that appears by your post. You look thin and in shape from what I can tell. i am really horrible about guessing weight because muscle weighs more than fat...and I have no muscle. So, I really have no reference point.

Ok. First. You are beautiful..Stop comparing yourself to the girls you are with all the time. When I was in junior high school all my friends were short and skinny, making me feel like I was huge and fat...when I look back at pictures...I don't know what I was thinking, I was fine the way I was...People can post and tell you how beautiful you are and that will make you feel good for a bit but at the end of the day you need to believe it yourself or you will always go back to not feeling good enough because you are comparing yourself to others. That will drive you crazy, trust me, I KNOW. I wish you nothing but the best :)

the number on the scale is essentially meaningless.

so don't chase a specific number on the scale!!!

focus on feeling good and being fit. build some muscle. eat enough food to fuel your day. get your nutritional needs met. be physically active.

if you want higher self-esteem, start making little changes to your life that you can be proud of. start picking up some heavy weights. as your strength increases and you are able to pick up more and more, that'll make you feel proud of yourself and raise your self-esteem.

Health is more important than weight

if you have bad body image problems, find a role-model body you like and work to replicate what you see
