Hi!
Okay, so a friend suggested that I make a folder of photos of people whose bodies I admire, that have admitted to working out.
Yes, I realize everyone's body is different, and I most likely will look nothing like any of the people, but I went ahead and made a folder full of pictures of a lot of random people that had a body I'd love to have myself.
1.) Do you find this inspiring, for yourself? If so, why or why not?
2.) Would you do it? If so, why or why not?
3.) What's your inspiration?
Just curiosity
Note: None of the answers will make me stop doing it, since I like her idea and seems to have worked for me to keep me inspired.

I think it seems like a good way to be disappointed down the road. I know I couldn't do something like this because I'm a sensitive girl, but as long as it doesn't get obsessive maybe it'll work for you. Personally, I look at outfits on Pinterest that I'd love to wear. I'll be needing new clothes soon and have no sense of what's trendy, so I'm studying and wishing all at once!
Good luck to you0 -

I have a picture of myself when I was happiest with my shape. I think I may dig it out and put in my purse.
I feel its good as I know that my body with hard work and 50lb less can look like that !!
Thanks for the idea think its a good one xx0 -

Ohh, yeah, I look at pictures of myself when I was fit, too lol.
It does feel good knowing that my legs can look that great with a short skirt haha.0 -

I definitely find it inspiring! I made an album on my tablet of different bodies that I've come across. They're mostly women who have my body shape, which is along the hourglass line. It gives me something to aspire to and work towards. I think you should use or do whatever YOU want to; to help reach your goals.Hi!

I've not done this with different bodies I want - although there are some I've seen that I'd like mine to be more like.
When I first started with SparkPeople the last time I joined up quite a few years ago, I came across an idea I really like - an Inspiration Collage. I need to make up a new one. It's a collage of whoever or whatever you want to use as inspiration for weight loss, or, really, anything else you want in life. I've found this helpful in the past when I've been active in losing weight & sizes & regaining health & fitness. I'm starting over because I've let myself go, & some of the inspiration from my last collage is gone from my life. So I need to make up a new one for who & what inspires me now.
Bodies a person wants can go on here, too, & how you do up the collage is entirely up to you. People, quotes, pets, activities, etc. - it's a truly personal thing that, as I already said, I've found to work when I'm faithfully working on my goals.0 -
When I first started I used this tool to keep me motivated. I started a scapebook and took pictures of bodies that were amazing. Now that I am ALMOST half way to my goal, I find it easier to imagine myself to look the way I like. Ive always been a daydreamer - and this is the 1 thing I think about often before going to bed lol.0

I looked up fit older women, in particular ones my height & decided I was going to be one. I'm 60 now.0
