Ab Lines?

Hey all, I've cut down eating junk, eating healthier and exercising daily with cardio 3 times per week. It's been two weeks and today I've noticed two lines at the position of where this lady's abs are:

It's only two lines but when I grab the skin, it's quite tough and strong when I push it in. I've got mainly belly fat to work off so it makes sense but I wanted to know could it be something else? I've never noticed it before until this morning and wondering if anyone knew anything.
Thanks

If you lay down and crunch your abs, can you feel with your hand any bumps? Abs are quite easy to find by touch. Even if you can't see them yet you can tell by feeling for them. Not sure exactly where you are pointing to as the picture you linked is not marked.0

The lines going up and down are the outside edges of her ab muscles. Everyone has them, they're usually just buried under fat.0

This is true. I bet your stomach looks like what mine does << but if you cannot feel your abs when you flex, you probably will have to cut back more fat to see them than someone who can feel their abs. I weigh 136 in my picture but ive only seen horizontal definition closer to 120lbs0 -

I just tried this and yeah it's where the lines are:

But when I tense them and stretch they look like that pic. I was wondering if some fat has come off my belly to have been able to show the lines as I never noticed them before properly until this morning.0 -
Just the wonderful perks of losing weight. Woman can get away with more BF% then men before they start to show abs. (lucky) As you lose more BF% they will become more defined and you might actually see some lines that you never knew you had on your body. You must have just been on the verge of seeing what you just recently discovered and today was the day. Of course water retention and sodium can hamper the view but its only for a short time as its not related to actually gaining weight. Hehe i watch my abs day by day hoping to finally see the separation between the abs and the lower belly gone! Its like watching a kettle boil. (takes forever)0

It was good to see progress as the fat from my face hasn't gone in much but I haven't been doing it for too long either. I'm glad it's going from my belly anyway, can't complain. I've definitely got a long way to go to be showing some more of the abs region. How long have you been at it?0 -
