Home Workout DVD Recommendations?

I'm looking into getting a good home workout program to supplement my gym membership. I was thinking about T25, Insanity, or P90x. Which one would you recommend? Or maybe something else?

    Depends on your goals.

I'm 5'5" and 138 pounds. I'm basically at maintenance but looking to lower my body fat percentage. I lift weights and do cardio at my gym and see a personal trainer once a week but want something at home I can do if I don't get to the gym.

Insanity. I enjoyed it. The challenge of it was awesome.

ChaLean Extreme. That's more strength-focused than Insanity.

I like Jillian Michaels DVDs (probably the only overweight person to ever say that) and I'd recommend ripped in 30 and 30 day shred. Both incorporate weights and are pretty good on time (30 mins for shred, 50 for ripped)

This... I just started ChaLean Extreme yesterday :) I have P90X and tried it but I did not have the 90 minutes PER day to do it. After work, 3 kids, etc... it just wasn't happening.

Me too! I am doing Body Revolution and love the quick workouts. You change workouts every 2 weeks so you don't really have time to get bored with it.

I am a big fan of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred! It's a good workout for beginners. You can even look them up on YouTube.

If you feel like you wanna try something more challenging the two you listed are great!

I have T25 - it's not too bad --- I don't do it as much as I should because I do it after a 3 mile run so sometimes I only do half the video or so.
  • Insanity! T25 is also great if you don't have time.

You can get a lot of her workouts on youtube, but I prefer having the DVD's so I don't need an internet connection.
  • I just started the Focus T25 today!
I was surprised by how much i was actually sweating!
I like the time aspect, as a full time college student it is kind of hard to always make time to exercise, but this is great!

I really like Jackie Warner's DVDs. Her workouts are about 30 minutes and they are intense.

When I first became a Beachbody Coach (6 weeks ago) I started ChaLEAN Extreme. I absolutely LOVE it !! 3 days strength training and 2 days of cardio. It's amazing. Definitely getting toned
