procrastinating on my lunch...

Just curious if anyone else does this? I am currently procrastinating on having lunch... I'm hungry, and I have my food in my lunchbox all ready to go. I just really don't feel like eating what I brought for lunch. And no, going out and getting food somewhere is not an option. I will eat it, can't put it off too much longer as my tummy is demanding that it be fed.

I wish I had a lunch with me. I am procrastinating because it is just too much effort to go out and find a healthy lunch. I need to get out and I need to eat, but ugh!

Haha! I do that at home sometimes! When I have food, but all of it takes too long to make and the unhealthiest stuff is quickest... so sometimes rather than eat unhealthier food I just wait a bit... sometimes I'm lucky and my fiance decided to cook something.

Just eat it! I know I sometimes prelog and bring my food but then just really don't FEEEEEL like it. Just eat it because if not you will be too hungry when you get home and grab junk. I've made that mistake before.

Oh my goodness. I so hear ya. When that happens to me I end up going out and getting all the bad for ya stuff. Then I feel guilty and cruddy. I am so struggling the last couple months. Lost 31 lbs then recently gained 5. This is the day I said no more, I have got to get back on it. Back to planning and following through on the workouts and healthy eating. This afternoon is a struggle. The office keeps 'no so healthy snacks' and my desk is right next to the break area. But I am determined. I will not give in.....:smooched:

I *wish* I had a lunch waiting for me. I rushed out of the house this morning and completely forgot my breakfast AND my lunch--not smart since today is a 10 hour day for me. :-/ Luckily I had some grapes here at work and I had coffee with milk this morning. I can't wait to get home and make something yummy for dinner!

I often procrastinate on my lunch. Not because I don't want it, but because if I eat early I will need a snack before dinner, and if I eat a late lunch then I won't need a snack and can have a bigger meal at dinner. I like a big dinner.

My friends make fun of me because I always have my food purse with my food for the day packed... snacks included. I did eat it. As i said i would, just didn't enjoy it as much as i would have a warm sandwich and some soup or something (gotta stop letting those dang rabbits pack my lunch lol). I won't be getting home until after 7:30 tonight and I wouldn't have had time to stop anywhere between work #1 and work #2 so eating bad food wasn't a problem. My wallet usually stops me from making that a problem!

Just eat it. You need to fuel your body. While it may not satisfy your particular craving, you still need to eat.

I do this EVERY WEEK DAY with both breakfast and lunch, because I don't want what I have, and I know that once I'm done with it, I'll likely still be hungry/unsatisfied, and have several hours to go thru before I can eat again. With snacks, too.

At home, I can be really hungry, but just won't eat because I'm less planned at home, and don't want to have a big-calorie item and then have little left for the rest of the day, so I wait until I've got it really planned out then eat. There's not much enjoyment most days, just doing what I have to :/.

I do this a lot, because i just dont feel like eating whats in my lunch box. Sometimes i cave in and sometimes i just eat it. I mostly tend to eat it as i do not want to waste food :grumble:

Invest in a good thermos so you can make some hearty soup or stew and have some good warm food.

This doesn't really happen to me as I tend to make a salad the night before from something I really like. It's usually based around some leftovers and I try to make a new salad every day (although usually I alternate between 2 salads from mon-thurs then something different friday). Today it was pork sausage salad with a dressing I made from mustard and non-fat yoghurt. It was very lovely and so fresh!

Try to keep a bit of variety and try to be inventive. I always find myself enjoying my food if it's something I've sort of come up with myself (like the dressing I mentioned).

    I'm wierd?

They taste okay, I'm not choking stuff down, but I get anxiety whenever I have to plan something, and feel like I don't have choices. I also tend to eat the same things day in/out because I know I can meet my macros with them, so it's all very boring now. That, and since meals are particularly satisfying, I'd rather look forward to eating than be done and still sorta hungry, and already looking forward to the next time I eat. I'm not sure why there's so much anxiety, but, dunno, there is.
