How long do you workout for?

Options
Just curious? I know when I was first getting on shape I would workout from about an hour - an hour and a half, and now I'm down to about 30-45 mins a day , sometimes an hour.
I'm just wondering if this is normal for maintaining weight. Granted I'm active for the rest of the day too.
I'm wondering what everyone else's average workout time is

Generally 25-40 minutes. It's all I've got time for, so I cram as much in as I can

Been in maintenance for the past year and still workout 6 days a week and it varies 80-120 minutes depending on what I am doing that particular day... I split train a few times a week so my Morning workouts may be an hour and same for P.M. workout those days run 120 minutes... If I am doing one and done workout then it is around 80 minutes....

@dnamouse , yeah, I hear ya! that's all I feel like I have time for... I mean if I want to have a life that is. I work 10-11 hours a day, and by the time I'm out of work I only have a few hours before bed and I want some ME time!

Between 30 & 45 minutes twice a day. Walking/jogging with the dog, killing two birds with one stone.

30-45 min on weekdays, and 1 hour- 1.5 hours on weekends. I have two rest days per week, on a weekday and weekend.

50-60 min on lifting days, about 30-45 min on cardio days.

General weight maintenance can be achieved simply by matching your dietary intake with total energy demands. Thus, if your goal is primarily to maintain weight, you can get away with less exercise as long as long as caloric intake balances things. But to answer your question, your schedule falls within the updated ACSM guidelines of recommended activity. Even if people don't meet the minimums, they can still experience health benefits from some activity and likely maintain weight.

I exercise 4-5 days a week , 30 minutes per day - 4 days of heavy lifting and 2 days of 10 minute interval sprints for cardio.

60-90 minutes most times but that includes everything.

    10-15 mins warm up
    45-60 mins lifting
10-15 mins mobility, stretching or core work

    4 days per week.

Not enough, apparently...or not as much as others. I run for about 20-30 minutes a day. Sometimes, I'll bike for 30 minutes a day on the weekend, but it got cold. Brrr.

Lifting usually takes 60-75 minutes x4 week
Cardio I usually keep to 30 minutes or less unless I go for a bike ride x1 week

Depends on the day. About an hour most days. I play competitive volleyball twice a week, then i play for about 3 hours. Love it.
