Ok so I'm a huge fan of holiday baking. I usually start the week before Thanksgiving and bake all the way through Christmas. What are some ideas for slimming down my traditional recipes and what are some new recipes I could use???

Oh sweetie .... holiday baking is the danger huge red flashing light bad zone LOL
I say, create new traditions ..... I know it's not what you want to hear .. but we're all here to change, yes ?
I guess if you MUST continue hehe ... I would try baking with splenda .. and looking up recipes that include that ..
or just substitute ? I'm sure there are many things still to enjoy ... just be creative and cut the calories in half or more by
using splenda
Best of luck on your goals .. and everyone else reading0 -
I would start by replacing sugar with spendla, and there are also substitutes for brown sugar. You can also substitute apple sauce for oil, and whole wheat flour instead of white flour. I always use fat free milk when I bake. Good luck with your baking!0

I have some recipes that I either have tried or want to try. I am very busy for the next few days but will be back as soon as I can to post some--I promise!:happy:0
