Rollar skating calories?

In going to a Rollar skating rink tonight 7-9:30pm.
Obviously won't be on the floor the entire time and will be going different paces.
I don't have any kind of fitbit or anything.
So I was wondering how many calories roughly skating would burn for a 5'2 118lb female such as myself.
When I type skating into MFP exercise it gives me rollerblading and it's telling me id burn 321 calories for 30 minutes.
Doesn't that sound kinda high?

From my recollections of my distant youth, roller skating wouldn't be something I'd think would be much of a calorie burner. Once you're going it doesn't take much to maintain your momentum in a roller rink. Rollerblading is a whole different story when you're out on the road or a trail with hills and such. Ice skating might be a closer fit but keep in mind you aren't going to skate for 2.5 hours straight.0

If you want to use roller skating as fitness for the day, take off the skates and pull a child around the rink. You'll burn calories.
I'm with the other poster - I don't think roller skating, in a rink, burns the same amount of calories as roller blading outdoors. I think it would be the equivalent of a slow walk.0 -
I’ve seen rollerblader’s on the trails before and they are there for speed and a hard workout. I think roller skating indoors would be closer to one of the walking workouts if you're already in good cardio condition.0

I play roller derby and am skating two to three nights a week. I know I am not skating, hard, for the full practice period, so I usually estimate about how much I was active on skates. For a full two hour practice, I may only log in an hour of time on MFP if we were doing some minimally active drills, or if we were standing around more. For our endurance practices, where we're constantly going, I may end up logging in 1.5 hours.
I'm not really sure what level of skating is assumed for the "roller blading" category, to be honest. You can skate pretty leisurely, or pretty hard. I have always thought it was high, though, hence why I cut it back a little bit.

I want to under log calories to be safe. So you think 200 would be too high still? Out of the 21/2 hours I'd probably say if ge a full hour of skating total between rests and chats and such.0

In my weight management class they gave us a worksheet that we could use to estimate calories burned with Physical Activity. For your weight and an intensity of Medium (Walking, mowing, tennis, biking, skating, light aerobics) it shows a calorie burn of 3 calories per minute. So, 30 minutes * 3 = 90 Calories burned.0

I use a HRM and my burn is more significant than others seem to think it would be for rollerskating. In a 2 hour session, with sitting down part of the time, I usually will burn between 300-500 calories. I'm 5'9" and 150 pounds, in pretty good shape, and take a beta blocker, which actually lowers my heart rate, so my burn would probably be more without the meds. YMMV.0

:drinker: If I walk the entire 2 hours, walking my dog, I'll burn roughly the same, but with roller skating, I sit part of the time, and work harder part of the time, so I guess it does even out.0 -

For my lunchtime exercise last winter on rainy days, I went to an ice skating rink. That was hard work, and with a commensurate calorie burn.
There's a roller skating rink near my new place that I haven't checked out yet. I think their hours are weird, or not conducive for avoiding teenagers. When I went as a teen it was during the disco era
