So I'm curious... how many of you play fitness Video Games? If you do, which ones are your favorite and for which console system? I can't wait for the PS4 release, but I'm wondering if they'll be offering a fitness game anytime soon...

I've only done EA Active and Wii Sports, but I like both.0

I like EA Sports Active 2.0 and Gold's Gym Cardio Boxing for the Wii.0

Wii u Just Dance 2014...though, it would probably be more fun on the PS4 with the eye function. The fun part of the wii u is hoping the strap holds and I dont launch remotes at the TV
DDR, PS2 is a great one as long as you start on at least standard mode...not sure how easy dance mats are to get anymore though!0 -
I do. A lot. The only console I have is the Wii so I use that. I've actually found "WiiFit Plus" to be useful. Some of the exercises are low intensity, but not all. Island run is good and I really like Free Step, as they do make me really sweat. Both are from "WiiFit". "Biggest Loser Challenge " is a great fitness game and fairly insense, with an option for it to test you so as to meet your skill level. "Zumba Core" is a lot of fun and I found the tutorial for the steps quite useful. I also like "Gold's Gym Dance" but the tutorial for that one is- less useful so it may not be good for those not used to aerobic type dance or dance in general.0

The Just Dance games are really fun. I play them with my grandsons. Theirs is PS3 (I think). I have some for Wii.
I have the original Wii Fit games too and I like a lot of the games on there.0 -
I play hella video games. The ones I reeaaally enjoy require me to shoot at something or someone.
However, late last year I ventured out and purchased Zumba for the wii. A lot of fun, customizable and you can really burn some calories.0 -
PS3 has some fitness related games including Sports Champions, UFC Trainer and EASports Active (possibly getting that title wrong). The games are fun but the PS# Move often requires wearing arm/leg bands and/or holding Move controllers. Sometimes, the camera doesn't register your moves - causing you to have to do more (which is up to you if that's a bad thing). I'm with you though, hoping PS4 will offer a worthy rival to Xbox's Kinect for fitness games.0

I am a big fan of the Dance Central series for Kinect.0

Me too. And it works. I see results so fast if I stay consistent playing the game.
I bought a heart rate monitor, and I burn about 400 calories in 30min of playing on medium and hard level.0
