Hey there ladies:) I just picked up New Rules and am thrilled already about starting it. I saw there's a group established so I'll definitely poke around there, but have any of you done the program? Any tips? What kind of success did you see?
Thanks in advance!

I'm the mod of the largest group, and there are some fabulous success stories. Doing the program didn't just change my body, but hitting the weight room changed my outlook on my body too.
I recommend taking pictures and measurements, but mainly pictures. One of the biggest complaints I've heard is from people who are scale obsessed "my pants are getting looser, but the scale isn't budging." It's the first part that matters, not the second.0 -
Just starting it myself. I'm about 5 weeks or so in, I think. I went from not being able to do any pushups, to being able to do all of my pushups on the floor, and almost all the way down. Went from struggling to do pullovers with 5lb's, to being able to do 10lb's fairly easily. I have lost a couple inches here and there, and about an inch or so in my belly. Even though I haven't lost many inches in my belly, it definately looks tighter and flatter. My arms have more definition, and I'm definately getting stronger. I'm loving this book! I've been doing weights for a couple years now, and have seen more results in the last 5 weeks from doing this book. I love it! :happy:0

I just started stage 2 this week. I am eating at maintenance and doing the program 3 days a week. In the 5 weeks it took me to get through the first stage I went down 2 pant sizes! No change in weight but that doesn't matter to me anymore. Enjoy!!0

That's awesome! You ladies are making me all the more excited to start. I'm hoping to put on some weight actually so I hope it works both ways. I'm delighted with my measurements right now (33-22-34) but I could use a few more pounds and some muscle definition.0 -
