Ok me and my fiance are losing weight together. I have 83 more pounds to go and he has about 50. But he stepped on the scale today and has lost 11lbs in the past week and I get on there and its only 1lb. Now I am very happy for him bc he has healtg problems I want him healthy extremely bad but I workout 2 hours a day 6 days a week and I eat right at or a littlr below 1200 calories a day..... he only does 20-30 minutes on the treadmill 6 days a week. I just dont get it! Im not going to quit my diet or anything but its just fruatrating to work so hard and see such minimal results . Sorry for the long rant just needed to get it out.

For reasons that other, smarter members are more qualified to explain, men overall lose weight faster. I have no idea why.
That said, it's likely he doesn't put his calorie goal quite so low for what he wants to lose. That's a mistake most of us make in the beginning. You might want to consider upping your calories a bit, too.0 -

Stats please, age, weight, height... if your only eating 1200, that's really low. If I eat below 1700 aday, I tend to gain! I weight train 5 days a week, look into the "in place of a road map" forum.
Ps, im 31, 5ft3 1620 -
Are you recording measurements as well? I'd rely more on those than the scale # because it can fluctuate a lot. Up to 10-12lbs especially near or during your period.

Did you pick sedentary as your activity level and 2lbs/week loss?
If so- redo your #s and pick the correct activity level and either 1lb or 1.5lb/week loss. Also, if you aren't using a food scale - get one asap and use it.
ETA: Just a heads up in case you are wondering about exercise calories - MFP is designed for their users to eat those back (formula is on Goals Page).0
