    Thanks, all!

The weight is off, now the muscle building starts!

And one of you asked what the 30 Day Shred is - It's a Jillian Michaels workout that combines cardio/resistance/ab work in bite sized bits into 30 or so minute segments. I swore she was the devil incarnate when I started it, LOL...

Thank you. I'm in the middle of a stall (well I hope it's the middle and it's going to end soon!). I've been thinking about jacking it in, or upping calories, or just going into maintenance because maybe this is where I'm 'meant' to be. But having read your post I'm not. I'm going to carry on because like you, I don't quit. Thank you for being the post I needed to read today.

What a success story!! You look awesome!! I seem to be forever stuck at 163-165. Lose some, gain some, but darn if I can break through and get lower. I'm not pushing myself, and I know it. Seeing your story gives me hope that I CAN do it. I won't be stuck here forever. LOL...Jillian Michaels is Ms. Meanie Teenie Pants.

I loved the entire story. It really is motivational to see someone looking to reach goals but can almost give up at times...I guess it's part of being human. Good job to you and keep up the good work!

What an inspiring story, thank you for sharing.

I am facing one of those big round number birthdays in March and your post was the morning inspiration I needed to keep the pedal on the metal for the next few months.

I think there are a lot more stories about not achieving success than people who just doggedly kept at it. We need to see stories like yours - setbacks and all - to be reminded of what's possible.

What a beautiful journey! I can really appreciate this as I started MFP in Sept 2011 at 205 (I'm 5'7") too- got down to 165-- then went back up and down now for the past 2 years-- unfortunately I'm starting up again now at 184 today.

Thanks for posting and congratulations on your success! it's so inspiring to me and reminds me not to look at everything in such a Black and White fashion and to just track and workout and my weight will fall into place.

    thanks again and congrats!

    You look great!! Congrats!
  • Your story is such motivation for me. I always get stuck at 170. I am at my heaviest right now. I feel pretty good at 170 but should be more like 140 to be in the healthy range and 170 comes and haunts me. It will take me awhile now to get to 170 but I am going to push through! Thank you so much for your post!!!
