I hope this is in the right place to post i'm really sorry if it isn't! I was just wondering if I could get some advice, I'm returning to trying to lose weight after a year of "normal eating". I feel hopeless unless I set goals and it would really motivate me if I had something to aim for but I want to make sure it's achievable. Is 15lbs in 2 months achievable for someone without a lot to lose? I think I read somewhere that the less you have to lose the more difficult it can be but that may be a myth or complete rubbish so it would be great if that could be cleared up i'm 5'9 and 160lbs and I want to be 135/140 again.
thank you in advance!

You can aim for it, but most likely it will be beyond reach at your height weight.0

you could reach it but in a unhealthy way, and that is never the right way to try to loose the weight. Take your time and loose it slowly like a lb a week or 1.5 depending on what you do.0

If you were obese then yes..being that's all you have to lose, it's not going to happen. The more you have to lose the faster it falls off....the less you have to lose, the slower it is. If you're at all at a healthy BF% then it's incredibly slow. I'd personally just focus on eating maybe a slight deficit and getting on with some fitness, particularly resistance work. Most likely your issue is body composition rather than actual weight.0

so 8-10lbs would be more realistic? I do have a very small frame for being a bit taller/the extra weight i've put on the past two years really doesn't feel comfortable thank you for your help!0
