I started my journey on July 5th 2013.
My weight was at an all time high of 239, the first time I saw that on the scale I was mortified and humiliated even though I was the only one looking at the number. I knew something had to be done I couldn't keep living my life that way--even though i never felt "huge" I could deffinitely start seeing the changes in pictures of myself. I have always had a sweet tooth, whether it was chips, candy or pop I was constantly eating it every day through out the entire day. I wouldn't say that the number shocked me completely I knew what i was doing to myself everytime I went to Mcdonalds or would eat so many cookies or a bag of chips, the weight didn't come on over night but it definitely slapped me in the face and told me to get a grip on life the morning of July 5th.
Since that day I have given up pop and now if i try and take a small drink of someone elses I can not stand the taste. I only drink water and i'm perfectly fine with that--I don't crave anything else. I would like to say that i have also given up fast food, but i haven't--it's way to convenient . But I can say that with MFP I make better choices and don't order fries or a drink with anything I get. I typically eat between 1200-1550 calories a day, I workout 4-6 times a week and I don't eat back excersize calories.
This is me at the end of June '13---and one of the pictures that made me start evaluating my appearance. Weighing in at 239lbs (eak)
This is me at some point in August after I had started to try and lose weight
And this is me today (sorry about bad lighting) needing some extra motivation and putting on that same purple shirt to see just how far i have actually come on my journey. I am not close to being done, but there is now way in hell i am stopping now and going to give up.
...and now a better picture in clothes that actually fit me
Like I have said, I still have a ways to go, but I feel tons better about myself right now. I'm down 45ish pounds (i have my weigh in tomorrow). I can tell such an amazing difference between my befores and afters and it truely is the best motivation for me to go back and look at old pictures of what I never want to be again.

that is amazing! You look great! Thanks so much for the inspiration!! I am currently looking for my ideal size. I am not worried about how much I weigh because it really doesn't mean a hill of beans to me lol. But Your afters are what I would like to look like and is a good size, in my opinion! Keep up the great work!!0
